sadly, the philippines
is still a basketcase part i

Reading Veloso's letters gave me a flurry of feelings, yet again. On one hand, who can not just feel for the family. But on the other hand, let's not be taken by mere emotion and look at it rationally: HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN GOING ON? In Mary Jane's particular case, apparently since 2010. In the cases of numerous other Filipinos who have been convicted of similar misdeeds in foreign countries -SINCE TIME IMMEMORIAL. Yes, Filipinos have been forced -by circumstances- to work abroad as menial laborers since before you or I were born. As always, they leave behind their entire families, reduced to waiting fervently for the cash remittances thus further fueling a mendicant society. Not to mention the ways they choose to exit the country aren't always through legal procedures (no thank to the immense bureaucracy and again, poverty) while their families are caught in never-ending cycle of hand-outs since no one ever knows what to do with money other than to spend it.... Reappering Act
And I'm back.. unofficially. I don't know know yet. Wow I've reread some posts, most of them, admittedly, forgotten. It struck me how easily I let words and raw emotions flow then and how reserved I seem to have become now. It made me laugh and realize I must have been more mature way back.. and I'm emotionally aging backwards. LOL. And the last post about my heartbreak was a blast from the past, it served its purpose of reflection. And it did nothing but make me smile and laugh a little.. Right now I would like to divert this post on what happened in between, then and now.. I should've continued writing for myself. It's a nice experience to look back and relive accounts of your own experiences. I tried to make other blogs other than this, as a way to escape but somehow I keep stumbling back on this one.. the very first one I made. It holds a sentimental feeling and mind you, I'm an emotional person but I much less show it. 3 years, I've grown for the better I believe. Still with... (more)

those who honor him
God delights in those who honor him Known in advance God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son. Romans 8:29 NLT The Reforming Monk Girolamo Savonarola was born in 1452 in Ferrara, Italy. He was a sensitive and serious boy who was enamored with the study of religion. He started training as a physician, but his idealism caused him to drop out and join a Dominican order to fight the evils of the world. Savonarola was deeply distressed by the corruption within the Catholic Church and what he saw as a lack of piety among its leaders. He spent his time praying, fasting, and teaching the novice monks. He became famous as a preacher. He preached about God's pending judgment, the need for repentance, against the worldliness of the clergy, the evils of the ruling class, and the general corruption of secular living. Savonarola used his power and popularity to bring about reform of church and state. He is considered an early reformer within the... (more)

Mind Control Theories and Techniques
Link: about.me/gideonsword Mind Control Theories and Techniques Used by Mass Media Author: VC Source: The Vigilant Citizen - 04.28.2010 Mass media is the most powerful tool used by the ruling class to manipulate the masses. It shapes and molds opinions and attitudes and defines what is normal and acceptable. This article looks at the workings of mass media through the theories of its major thinkers, its power structure and the techniques it uses, in order to understand its true role in society. Most of the articles on this site discuss occult symbolism found in objects of popular culture. From these articles arise many legitimate questions relating to the purpose of those symbols and the motivations of those who place them there, but it is impossible for me to provide satisfactory answers to these questions without mentioning many other concepts and facts. I’ve therefore decided to write this article... (more)

Child Rape In Maine
Maine is rated third worst in the country for sex trafficking. The Bangor Daily News says Maine is an East Coast source to procure children. Those who know Maine’s history are not surprised. Only a few years ago, when students at Baxter School for the Deaf tried to refuse sexual abuse by their director, Dr. Robert Kelly, he tied them naked to a tree and left, all night, in the Maine woods; to break them. Dr. Robert Kelly was not prosecuted. The State of Maine protected Kelly and not Maine’s children. The Attorney General (AG) refused to prosecute any of the Baxter School rapists. Instead, Maine used tax-payer funds to pay Kelly’s pension through-out his retirement in Florida until he finally died, as reported by Rick Wormwood, in 2004. Retired Biddeford Police Officer Stephen Dodd Maine treated Robert Kelly the same way Maine is handling retired Biddeford Police Officer Stephen Dodd; a cop who anally raped children now living free in Florida on Maine tax-payer...
